Relax With Sleep Dentistry
IV Sedation is utilised to provide you with a relaxed and positive dental experience. It will make long complex procedures very comfortable. Often referred to as Sleep Dentistry, you are not actually asleep, rather you will feel sleepy with a feeling of deep relaxation. You won’t feel anxious or even bothered by what is occurring. Patients often report they do not remember the treatment at all and that they thought only a short time had passed.
Looking After You
We will always carefully prepare you for treatment. Here are some tips we usually share:
- Don’t eat or drink anything for at least six hours before your appointment
- After treatment, you will definitely be unable to drive and will need to be accompanied home.
- You should rest and allow yourself 24 hours to recover fully

It’s always our desire to ensure that all of our patients can access the dental services they desire. Our consultation fees are never more than $200 (includes all radiographs if required). Once the comprehensive examination is completed we can work out a flexible payment plan for you. We can do this for the dentistry portion of treatment which helps a long way to affording sleep sedation. The anaesthetist and visiting surgeon fees require upfront payments for their procedures.
